Twitter Knowledge

1: Twitter can be used for educational purposes in tons of ways first is by following certain things on twitter. For example a few years ago there was a conflict in Egypt and the way word got out from the Egyptian citizens was through twitter and that is how millions of Americans learned of the event.

2: Twitter can also be used for educational use like putting hash-tags like youth vote to choose your vote. They can be used for voting, and or put hash-tags for special events during school.

3:  Twitter can be used by teacher to student. The teacher can make  an account and use it just like a school website except making on twitter will make it easier for kids to see. So they can post homework assignments, projects, tests, etc.

4:  It doesn't even have to be linked to school. Anybody can make a twitter so that everyone can follow and learn something new. If anything this is better for education because people can learn at free will. They learn about stuff that interests them all around the world.

5: Twitter can be used for projects like pictures of the projects to post on twitter. You can also use the hash-tags for project if want to put in on the project.

RSS Assignment

1. The reason I selected all of these sites to subscribe to because they are all very interesting to me.
2. I think it was very easy because almost everything I wanted to subscribe to had a RSS feed.
3. Some of my Favorite sites were the ones that kept me updated with thee Baltimore Ravens and The Chicago Bulls.
4. You can use RSS Feeds even to teach of class because you can have everyone in your class to subscribe to your site so they can know the latest projects homework etc.
5. I probably won't use a lot of the news feeds but I will use all of my personal feeds all the time so I can know what is up.

Tech Article

Nano Quad rotors the coolest new toy out there. Nothing really revolutionary but these things are extremely cool they are basically toy airplanes except with four propellers and really tiny you can have a lot of fun with these things.

Smart Guns

Smart Guns the newest step to gun control. What a smart gun is a gun with I guess you can call them sensors. These "sensors" will take note of thee gun owners grip or what the gun owner wears on his hand. Like a ring a watch etc. What the gun is suppose to do is it will only fire in one person's hands. This will increase gun control because there has been tons of deaths because a person's guns have gotten into the wrong hands. But with there smart guns it doesn't matter who's hands the gun gets in. It will not shoot an the hands of anyone but the shooter's.

1. A good topic for a Wiki project in our age group would be the Advancement in technology today.

2.You could easily break this up into pages like Smartphones,Computer,Internet,Sports technology,Medical Technology, and Television. The list can go on and on.

3.There could be so much information on each page because technology is advancing day in and day out.

The Galaxy Mega

The Galaxy Mega kind of hard to miss since it is literally the biggest thing on the market. In case the Galaxy Note II wasn't big enough for you at 5.5 inches. Well the first Galaxy Mega is 5.8 inches. And in case you still want something that towers your head there is another one that is 6.1 inches. But besides the sizes of these phones there is really nothing big about them. Personally I think Samsung just tried to make headlined because I do not know who needs a phone this big. It does everything your nice and big enough Galaxy S3 does.

Spring Break

I had a lot of fun with my Spring Break. I didn't do much but I had fun. I had fun playing basketball with my friends every single day. It was lots of fun also I had track practice over the break that was alright. But not the highlight of my break. I had lots a fun now I can't wait till summer.

Sapphire Screens

So turns out that a lot of people crack their phone screens. I know shocker... But anyway there apparently is a solution coming out to future phones. Smartphone will have a screen that is part sapphire. Yes the emerald sapphire it is said to make screens almost indestructible. This is said to make the life of a phone a lot longer. The big question is though how much will this cost well only time can tell.

Yotaphone

The Yotaphone nothing like your original smartphones. This is something that who knows how long till iPhones or Samsung Galaxies will be featuring in one of their phones. What this special feature is,is having two screens on the phone. one on the front and one on the back. This phone is suppose to be truly ground breaking.

If I Could Go Back

If I can time travel I would go back in time and steal the idea of Microsoft from Bill Gates. If its not clear why  I would do this it is so I could be a billionaire. Then I would be looked at like some kind of god just like Bill. I would obviously find out everything of how he made microsft what it is today. So not only will I be the maker of Microsoft but I will make it up to what it currently is today so it can be absolutely ground breaking. I will love it cause I would be looked at like a genius.

Google Glasses

Unless you live under a rock you have heard of Google Glasses. Google Glasses is promised to be a revolutionary new invention. What this is, is a pair of glasses that can let you browse the web. It also lets you email, film,schedule, and even use a gps system. It even keeps you up top date with like subway delays,and flight times. The things you can do with Google Glasses is endless. It is awsome how much stuff you can do with this awsome invention. To show you here is a day with Google Glasses.

If I can Add a Class

If I had a choice to add a class into the school's curriculum  I would pick wood shop. I think this is a cool thing that the kids can learn from and have a fun time doing it. It would be an elective the room will have all different machines to cut wood. This will teach students how to obviously make wood works. They will be graded mostly by projects at the end of every week the students would get in groups. Then they will make something out of wood and will be graded on it every week. I think this will be very fun and educational.

3-D Printing

3-D Printing is said to be a revolutionary new invention.You can almost make any thing. you can go from making a small cube. All the way up to a full working bicycle. This is one of the coolest  that I have ever heard about. Actually even President Obama is getting interested in this awesome printer.The things you can make with this printer is endless.Also with further looking into it will be even more mind blowing with the things that it can make.For example here is a video of a printed baseball bat. being tested

What I did this weekend

This weekend I came up to Wood-Ridge to go sledding with all my friends. When we heard there was going to be a blizzard this weekend we all got really excited because we knew we were going to be able to go sledding. We also got excited because we knew were were going to make some nice money from shoveling.So on Saturday I went to go make some money shoveling and I was suppose to head up to wood-ridge but then I had no ride so I just came on Sunday. I   had a very  fun weekend and can't wait till the next time it snows.

New iPhone app vows to fix e-mail clutter

This Mailbox app is made to make e-mailing a little less cluttered. The point of this app is to get pointless e-mails out of the way. How it does this is it makes everything man able by literally the swipe of a finger. Like if you swipe to the right and hold the e-mail it will get deleted. Also you can swipe to the left and snooze an e-mail. What this option does is it doesn't make the messages from this e-mail come into your inbox for a certain amount of time. I think this app will help the everyday e-mail user keep their emails organized and that it will be a big hit in the AppStore.
